Contest Time

Time for a contest but first you have to suffer through a meme.  Blame Kim.  She tagged me.

Four jobs you've had in your life:

Four places you have lived (pfft!  Only four?  I've been military my entire life!):

Virginia (born there but lived there only six months), New Hampshire, Texas, Germany

Two and a Half Men, Everybody Loves Raymond, Lost, Survivor

Four places you've been on vacation:

Egypt, All over Europe, All over the U.S., Greece.....

Four websites you visit daily:

I'm not even going there....  to be fair, I don't read every day but there are so many that I keep up with that I couldn't possibly pick only four.

Four of your favorite foods:

Mexican, Pulled Pork Sandwiches, Grilled Cheese Sandwich and tomato soup on a cold day, Antipasti

Four places you would rather be right now: Anywhere warm and sunny, Scotland (I know it's not sunny and warm, but I'd be warm with glee), My Grandparents in New Hampshire (okay not warm again, but warm with love), Texas with my in-laws

Here's the contest.  I found these VERY cool seagrass baskets that would be perfect for knitting.  Here's what you have to do to get one:

A.  Come visit me in Germany

B.  Knit one hat and one pair of booties for the Preemie Project.  Mail it in to Laura and then send me an email letting me know that you actually mailed it in.  You actually have to have put it in the mail already.  That's the hardest part, I think.  I'll run the contest through to the end of February.  Tracy and Megan - you're already entered.

Perfect timing! I have 4 preemie hats that I made. I thought about taking them to my local hospital, but I'd rather send them for sure to a group that will make sure they get used!

What a pretty basket! The winner is going to be one lucky winner. I just wanted to say hi to a fellow, ex-Sea World employee! I worked at the Ohio park for eight summers and even over a couple of winters! I thought it was a great place for a summer job.

I'm in! Or I could just have you give me the name of the vendor so I could order more. My favorite basket is almost exactly like that. I got mine from an African lady who sold them at Stitches Midwest last year. You can beat I am headed back to find her this summer! Now to get preemie knitting. First to find preemie sized patterns!
