I Got Nuthin'

Listen I have nothing to post but it's been a few days and I don't want to get into that two weeks with no post again.  Causes me too much anxiety.  So.  I'll cheat and lead you to others that have something interesting to say:

I'm just finding out about Podcasts.  Okay.. that's not true, but I'm just finally taking the time to listen to them. You don't need an ipod or itunes to listen.  You can listen through your computer or other mp3 player.  It's great while your reviewing your bloglines, knitting or driving to have something knitterly to listen to.  I really enjoyed this one this morning:

About Time's interview with Yarnharlot.  LOVED IT!!  I'm sure there are more, but here are the knit podcasts that that I know about:

Cast On

KnitCast

Knitting News Cast

Pointy Sticks

We're winding things down here getting Dan ready to go.  He leaves a week from today.  I don't know where the last eight months have gone.  I only hope the next year goes as quickly.

Aggie is pretty much back to normal.  Still a little swelling around her incision.  She's gotten to most of her stitches even though I've felt like I've watched her like a hawk when she doesn't have the ridiculous cone on her head.

Enjoy the podcasts!

Thanks so much for linking to Pointy Sticks! I really appreciate your help in getting the word out. By the way, where in Germany are you at? I was in a little itty bitty town - Illesheim - back in the 90s. It is near Ansbach and Rothenberg, and I adore Germany. *sigh*
Jean, have you thought of putting a baby's onesie on Aggie? Several people I know have done that after spaying, etc. I think our Katie may have chewed it off, though. She didn't do anything to her stitches, but did a bit of licking. She didn't have a cone, though. I am sure Aggie will be fine. We worry just like we do with our kids, don't we?
Charles is way into the world of IPod. You might think about downloading Cowboys stuff for Dan. Charles gets all the Steelers stuff for me & I love it. You'll have another reason to be wife of the year!
My son set me up to listen to some knitting podcasts a while back, but I just haven't taken the time to try them out. Sounds like I'm missing out. Time to get with it!
Hey Jean, have you been to Pandora (the music genome project)? You enter in songs or artists that you like, and it builds a "radio station" using elements that are similar to the music you've chosen. Got your holiday card yesterday (see how much you stand out by mailing in Feb?) and the photo was great! Can I mail Dan a box when he goes? Something with a Valley kick to it? LMK.
