Final sounds so... well... Final...

I thank you all for the kind words of support.  I should have done some investigating before I wrote my last post.

It seems the only way to save my archives and not have to start from scratch when I'm ready to come back is to just keep the blog open.  I'll be downgrading my typepad account since I won't be posting again for a while.  That way when I'm ready to come back I can.  It's only $4 and some change.  There are too many links and such that I just don't want to get rid of.

This will take away the pressure that I feel to post regularly and will just be a surprise to you when I show up on your bloglines again.  It'll be a while though I'm hoping that by Fall, my favorite knitting time,  maybe I'll have things in order and will feel a bit more free.

Thanks again for all the support and until we meet here again, I'll see you in blogland....

So glad to see you back, at least for one post. Glad that you and the boys are enjoying your time together. Enjoy your time with your DH when he gets there.... the deployment is almost done!
Hugs to you m'dear.
Best of luck--and do keep us informed about your husband and his safety. Take care!
I just today found this blog and find you're done with it for now! Its beautiful Jean, very well done. And your knitting is wonderful. I wish you well!
Thank you for all your wonderful links. I was able to donate my near new cellphone to cellphones for soldiers.(my husband bought me a new one)You have been a blessing. I love your blogs. ( I woke up one night unable to sleep (hot flashes) and found you through knitting doctor link and God put on my heart the urgent need to pray for your family) I will remain faithful in this.God bless you and your family. You have touched many lives! Annette
Disappointed but understand your decision. Let's stay in touch though.

I'm glad your not totally dropping out. You will be very missed.
I will miss you, and I'm glad you'll not be gone for good, I have enjoyed reading of your travels and cried with you when you reported your challenges. God bless you and the boys and Dan.
I thought your blog was wonderful, and I loved corresponding with someone living in Europe--as I did last year. Take care, God be with you and your family.
Jean, I will miss you and your family so much, but you must do what is best for your well-being.
YAHHH! It's okay if you come back every week or so and remind us how you are not blogging! And then, while you are here, you may as well show a picture or tell a story! hee! xo
ah, Jean. I have enjoyed your blog and getting to know you and your family a bit through it. I wish you and Dan and the boys all the best and that things may get easier, somehow. hugs, caroline
This sounds like a dood compromise. I'd miss reading you if you where gone forever. Blogging should never be work though. I'll look forward to seeing you pop up in my bloglines in the fall again.
Jean, I will miss you and all of your travels and knitting. Take care of your family and I will eagerly be awaiting your return.
I'll definitely keep subscribing and thinking of you whenever I see T.H. on A.I. :)
Jean, Just had a few minutes to catch up on some blog reading and I got a big surprise when I read your last two posts! You're doing the right thing though. This is supposed to be fun, not something you feel obligated to do. Thanks for entertaining us with a great blog and thanks for your friendship. Blessings, Tracy
Thanks so much for your blog...and just being you! Take Care, Suzie
Best wishes, always! "See you" again...
So glad to hear this latest news,Jean. I felt so sad when I read that you were going to take down the website. Yours was my favorite! Take care and pop in whenever you feel the urge.....please. Love, Catherine
You are wise to do what you need to make life simpler. It would be a shame to loose you altogether and this is a good compromise. I'll look forward to fall! Be well, Jean.
