Great job on your new hobbies - especially the chair!! Just imagine what you could accomplish with the missing saw, hehe!

I am so impressed with your woodworking and stained glass skills! I don't think there is anything you can't do well. Thanks for the award.

Jean, Jean, Jean......I have a bunch of things I could hire you for. A chimney cupboard, some wall cupboards......etc, etc...heehe. You are going to shame Ken into getting these things done.... :)

Awesome job Jean! I loved seeing your wood working projects and the stained glass. I took a stained glass class in high school and it was so fun, I've always thought about doing it again. I have been thinking about it again recently when I saw a craft show where they made photo jewelry and other items with stained glass and also using microscope slides with the copper tape and saudering. They attached ring that beads were attached too and they were really cute. You obviously are a perfectionist (it's the Scottish heritage!) - it shows in your beautiful work.

Wow, those woodpieces are great! You must be so proud. For someone who always wanted to try you sure picked it up quickly!

Wow! That must be Dan's favorite chair.

Thank you, Jean. I just love the stained glass birds. My husband knows how to weld...so does my son....maybe I should learn, too : )

Wonderful new hobbies! You are making beautiful useful things. Where's the harm in that?

Awwww, Thanks Jean! You're a sweetie and you KNOW how much I love your blog. So full of great inspiration -- I aspire to your knitting prowess! And you're a girl after my own heart with all the different hobbies. Your woodworking is awesome -- isn't it fun? I've done a little bit with my Dad and I love it -- I haven't done cool stuff like your bench and chair though. And the stained glass! I've always wanted to learn that but resisted due to a whole new level of supplies -- I decided I could dip my toe into the pendants without too much investment.

Awww - shucks. Thanks! I love your blog! I'm thrilled about the Mother's Day gift. Maybe you'll get that reciprocating saw for Christmas? : ) The adirondack chair looks amazing!
