We've had some sad days over the last couple of weeks and these beautiful colors from Dave Daniels were just what the doctor ordered. I spent the day winding the little skeins so that I could wind a warp with them. It was kind of theraputic, so I took the better part of an afternoon enjoying my work. The colors are absolutely gorgeous, bright and cheerful.
I'm totally copying Dave's Starry Night Shawl. Of course I didn't order near enough black (Dave was still working on perfecting his black when I ordered the Compass Collection), so I'm waiting on the second batch to arrive from Webs so I can finish winding the warp. I'll be glad to get started. It will remind me of two beautiful, bright stars in heaven.
I did finish the blue star towels. I need to hem and wash them and then I'll share a photo.
